Looking Up Looking Down

I lie on my back and look at the sky, watching the clouds go racing by.
If I screw up my eyes,I can almost see the leaves of the kowhai  tree.
The row of pine trees over the wall must be a hundred metres tall.
And everything makes me feel so small!

I lie on my tummy, very still and hardly move at all until
I see a movement  in the grass  and watch a tiny spider pass.

  1. This is a great poem to include on your blog Hannah.
What is your favourite line in the poem and What made you want to share it with us?

We are going to be learning about many different types of poems in term 3. Maybe you could publish your own poems that we get to create. I can't wait to read them.

Remember to say where you got others writing from, so that we can acknowledge who it originally came from
